“Anxiety in my body”

I wrote a book!!!! This has been a dream for so long now, and about a year ago I started to make it a reality. This book was inspired by my own experiences with scary physical symptoms of anxiety.

Anxiety is now widely discussed with children, but the scope of the body sensations that can accompany anxiety is left out of the conversation.This book fills that gap. Kids need to know about the emotional and physical manifestations of anxiety so that they will feel less scared and more empowered to calm their bodies, understand the mind-body connection, ask for help, and know that they are not alone.

Anxiety in My Body is ideal for children ages 5-8, as well as parents/ loved ones, teachers, and mental health professionals.

My mission is to educate children and their loved ones about the mind-body connection, normalize how anxiety can affect us physically, and empower children to talk about how their bodies feel and ask for help. I believe that awareness is the first step towards relief, and normalization is the key to connectedness.
